Jason Stokes is the President of ASPTEA, representing approximately 3200 Professional and Supervisory employees of the City of Phoenix. Previously he served as ASPTEA’s Chief Representative and as a Director at Large. Mr. Stokes has worked as a supervisor and manager for the City of Phoenix for 29 years, all in the Police Department. Mr. Stokes has a Bachelors degree in Law Enforcement Administration and holds certifications in arbitration and employee advocacy from the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution, ILR School, Cornell University. He is also certified as a mediator through The Mediation Agency. He is currently Chairs the City of Phoenix Coalition of Unions (COPCU) and the North Gateway Village Planning Committee. He also serves as an elected Trustee to the City of Phoenix Employees Retirement System (COPERS) Board.
